Autumn is a beautiful season all over the world but I like summer better, especially the summer in Beijing.

I go swimming with my friends nearly every day.

On October 1st, 2019, in order to celebrate the 70th birthday of the People's Republic of China (PRC), there was a grand parade on Tian'anmen Square.
2019年10月1日，为了庆祝中华人民共和国成立70周年，天安门广场上举行了盛大的群众游行活动。
A lot of people took part in the parade.
很多人参与了这次游行活动。
There were workers, farmers, teachers, students, and the Chinese women's volleyball players.
有工人、农民、教师、学生和中国女排运动员。
I was one of them.

As a Young Pioneer, I stood on a colourful floatin the shape of a ship with many other primary school students.

In 2019, to celebrate the 70th birthday of the People's Republic of China, 100,000 people and 70 floats joined the grand parade.

When these people marched through Tian'anmen Square, they looked so happy and excited.
人们游行走过天安门广场时，显得非常高兴和激动。
The colourful floats showed the great achievements of China in every field.

The most impressive part was the military parade.
