端午节的传说
Chinese people celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival every year.

中国人每年都庆祝端午节。
On that day, we usually have a dragon boat race and make zongzi.

在那天，我们通常会举行龙舟比赛，还会包粽子。
Zongzi is a rice dumpling.

粽子是一种糯米团。
It looks like a triangle.

它看起来像一个三角形。
This festival is an important festival for remembering Qu Yuan, a hero in Chinese history.

这个节日是一个重要的节日，是为了纪念中国历史上的一位英雄——屈原。
Qu Yuan was angry with the bad king.

屈原对昏君很是生气。
He jumped into the river and died.

于是他就跳进河里死了。
There was a big fish in the river.

河里有一条大鱼。
The big fish wanted to eat his body.

那条大鱼想吃掉他的尸体。
People rowed their boats to save his body.

于是人们就划船去拯救他的尸体。
People made zongzi to feed the fish.

人们包粽子来喂那条鱼。
Today we have a boat race to remember Qu Yuan.
