It was autumn.

Farmer Jack and the Donkey

Farmer Jack had a donkey.
农夫杰克有一头驴。
He made the donkey carry heavy things every day.

When the donkey was too tired to go fast, Farmer Jack hit him.
当驴太累,走不快时,农夫杰克就打他。
The donkey worked hard, but Farmer Jack did not give him enough food to eat.

He put him in a small and cold place at night.

One day, a robber came.

Farmer Jack said to the donkey, "Run away as fast as you can."

The donkey did not run.

He asked Farmer Jack, "Who won't give me food to eat?

"Nobody," said Farmer Jack.

"Then why should I run away? "asked the donkey.

Farmer Jack understood.

He hugged his donkey and said,"I'm very sorry,my donkey."

There are different kinds of birds.

Two friends were traveling in the forest.
