Once upon a time, there was a farmer who lived on a farm with a lazy cat, a lazy dog and a lazy pig.

从前,一个农民和一只懒猫,一懒狗和懒猪住在一个农场里。

The farmer worked very hard in the field, but the cat, the dog and the pig never helped him.

农民在田间辛勤劳作,但猫、狗和猪从不帮他。

It was spring.

春天到了。

It was time to plant wheat.

到了种小麦的季节。

"Who will help me plant the seeds?"

“谁会帮我种小麦种子?”

asked the farmer.

农夫问道。

"Not I," said the lazy cat.

“不是我，”懒惰的猫说道。

"Not I,"said the lazy dog.

“不是我，”懒惰的狗说道。

"Not I," said the lazy pig.

“不是我，”懒惰的猪说道。

The cat, the dog and the pig went to chase birds in the field.

猫,狗和猪在田里去追赶鸟儿。

"Then I'll do it myself," said the farmer.

“那我自己种吧，”农夫说。

He planted the seeds all by himself.

他自己种了所有的小麦种子。

Soon the wheat began to grow.

很快,小麦开始生长。

It was time to water it.

是时候给它浇水了。

"Who will help me water the wheat?"

“谁会帮我给小麦浇水?”

asked the farmer.

Now all the wheat was cut.

现在所有的麦子都收割完了。

It was time to carry it home.
