Hua Mulan

Hua Mulan was a heroine. She joined the army instead of her father. Her father was too old to fight for the country. Mulan's family was poor and her brother was too young. But every family had to do something for the army. So she put on her father's clothes and pretended to be a man to join the army.

花木兰是一位女英雄。她代替父亲参军了。她的父亲年纪太大了，不能为国家而战。木兰家里很穷，她的兄弟们年纪都太小了。但每个家庭都必须为军队做点什么。于是，她穿上了父亲的军装，假装成一个男人去参军。

During the years in the army, Mulan had never lost a fight. She made a lot of friends because she was very brave in the wars. The army thought highly of her. She got a promotion.
